Switzerland: A Federal State and It's Components

Swiss country has a long republican tradition until in 1976, the Federal constitution defines Switzerland as a Federal State composed of 26 cantons. Hence, The Constitution was totally revised in 1874 and is amended originically from time to time since. Swiss government, parliaments and courts organized on three levels namely The Federal, The Cantonal, and The Communal. the Country's Federal Government has a two chamber parliament namely The National Council and the other is The Council of States. Just like the other countries, the Switzerland's federal government has a president but do not have a full time responsibilities because it is taken over by one of the government members in every year but it depends on the focus. The President is Primus Inter Pares which means first among equals with a very limited power.
